We are too busy doing other things and forgetting family.

i've seen this poster all around NYC telephone booths...talk about standing by your love! Its what pushes us...its what heals us...for ourselves...its not selfish...its knowing who we are and it gets extended to all that surround us. Its whats alive and makes miracles.

I am a man of 60 years.I have been living what I thought was a life of love. But I find that I have fallen short. I will love unconditionally from this moment foreard.
I'm just more encouraged to have faith and believe that whatever your mind can conceive you can achieve. A great dad, i guess his dad is his hero.

Wow, it's neat that the dad was "on board" with what his son wanted to do. It's also great that the Hoyts decided to treat their kids the same way no matter if anyone had what people think of as limitations or not. Although we live in a time now where people are much more able to consider the physically handicapped as people in their own right instead ofshutting them away in nursing homes and institutions a parent who goes to bat for someone who profesional medical people would have written off is still very rare.
But don't get me started.
Alot of love, support, belief, companionship, and commitment by the father. We need alot more of that in these times. I was very touched.

This stirs so many emotions, I had tears in my eyes and Helen your right "what a great LOVE story!" If this story doesn't motivate, then there is no hope. We forget that it's little things that sometimes matter, being there when someone needs you. Visiting the elderly or handicap, having outings with them means more than receiving money. Cherishing championship and stopping loneliness with a short visit. Life is for Living, even if you have limitations. There is no greater proof than this video! So, what's stopping you (yourself)? Stop the excuses and find solutions, because YOU CAN. And the funny part is, you already know what the solution might be (stop telling yourself it's not possible).
oops championship should be companionship, to stop loneliness.

Love is amazing! How fortunate for the Hoyt family to have a father who loves so much. There needs to be more like him. I pray God continues to smile on their wonderful family and all our families, that parents everywhere will be inspired.

this man and his son has showed us true essence of the MOST HIGH'S LOVE. He truly is one of his faithful servents.SO MANY OF US LACK THIS RESPONSIBILITY IN LIFE. THAT IS TRUE LOVE. SOME GIVE JUST TIME. THIS MAN GAVE TIME, MENTAL POWER PHYSICAL POWER, AND SPIRITUAL POWER WHICH EQUALS BALANCEMENT.
It would be a better place to live if people loved each other
like Jesus loved us. If we take care of our children and love them the way we should they would give us more respect and we
