The Greatest Love Story Of All Time 25

My Dear Friend,

I’ve got another video for you, and this one was shown to me by my good friend Laura Silva of The Silva Method.

She insisted I watch it, and now I know why.

What you’re about to see is to me one of the greatest love stories of all time.

But more importantly, it’ll teach you an extremely valuable lesson. Watch the video, and see if you can figure it out before I reveal the answer below:

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flRvsO8m_KI

So have you got the answer?

Here it is…

To enjoy the truly rewarding aspects of life, you need more than just determination and belief in yourself.

You need LOVE.

Love for yourself, love for your friends and family, and love for what you do.

Because once you’ve got your heart in the right place, your desires will soon follow suit.

I hope this video helps you, would appreciate your thoughts in the comments section.

Helene

This is a beautiful story that not only Fathers everywhere needs to see but to families,to let them know if you give time and care to your love ones the world can be a better place all it takes is love.
We are too busy doing other things and forgetting family.
I sometime wish that we can go back in time when sales and retail was closed on sunday and family spend time together, the more we advance the more we have less time for each other. So god bless Rick and dick hoyt.

Shora says

I have tear in my eyes…
So inspiring…

i’ve seen this poster all around NYC telephone booths…talk about standing by your love! Its what pushes us…its what heals us…for ourselves…its not selfish…its knowing who we are and it gets extended to all that surround us. Its whats alive and makes miracles.

Carol M. says

What an inspiring story and a wakeup call for all of us to stop for a minute and see what we are missing right before our eyes — and most of to stop — and enjoy!!

thanks so much. Bookmarked for future revisits!! I love the song so much too!!

This is how I like to start my day.…..“Awe Inspiring” We all need to slow down and take time to see what is really important.…what is right in front of us, for life here is so short.…Love to all of you! Thank you again Helen. –Kelly

I am a man of 60 years.I have been living what I thought was a life of love. But I find that I have fallen short. I will love unconditionally from this moment foreard.

sue says

I’m just more encouraged to have faith and believe that whatever your mind can conceive you can achieve. A great dad, i guess his dad is his hero.

Claudia says

Wow, it’s neat that the dad was “on board” with what his son wanted to do. It’s also great that the Hoyts decided to treat their kids the same way no matter if anyone had what people think of as limitations or not. Although we live in a time now where people are much more able to consider the physically handicapped as people in their own right instead ofshutting them away in nursing homes and institutions a parent who goes to bat for someone who profesional medical people would have written off is still very rare.
But don’t get me started.

Sheri says

Alot of love, support, belief, companionship, and commitment by the father. We need alot more of that in these times. I was very touched.

mara says

Thanks so much!!!
God bless all of you with plenty of joy and love.
So true and so inspiring, it’s all about love.
Love for live, for people, nature, yourself, for what you do and wish to be doing, money too, why not?
…I was just looking for an answer this morning.…

Rabeena says

Wow, what an awe inspiring story, truly a great lesson never give up! Thank tou Kate and Helene!

Carmen says

This stirs so many emotions, I had tears in my eyes and Helen your right “what a great LOVE story!” If this story doesn’t motivate, then there is no hope. We forget that it’s little things that sometimes matter, being there when someone needs you. Visiting the elderly or handicap, having outings with them means more than receiving money. Cherishing championship and stopping loneliness with a short visit. Life is for Living, even if you have limitations. There is no greater proof than this video! So, what’s stopping you (yourself)? Stop the excuses and find solutions, because YOU CAN. And the funny part is, you already know what the solution might be (stop telling yourself it’s not possible).

Carmen says

oops championship should be companionship, to stop loneliness.

Hy,

I believe this is an amazing story.
It made me feel so good inside.
Thank you very much for sharing it!
This is another proof that anything can be done in this world only if you want to.

V says

Truly awesome, heartbreaking, inspiring, loving and amazing all at the same time. The true power of a loving spirit defined for all of us to see and understand. Love, courage and determination all wrapped up in these two people. And let us not forget the other members of this inspiring family. May God bless you all.

Charles says

Dear Helene,

Thank you so much! You have moved me to tears as I enjoined in the treasure of this invaluable Father and Son experience!
I equally, thank God for Your Life-Sharing Spirit…
You are Angel!
To God be the Glory!!!

Denise says

Love is amazing! How fortunate for the Hoyt family to have a father who loves so much. There needs to be more like him. I pray God continues to smile on their wonderful family and all our families, that parents everywhere will be inspired.

Dirnov says

Can i take a one small pic from your site?

Harper says

I can only say that I wish my dad had loved me
like this. I never fortunate enough to have the
true love a father could give to his children.
Thank you for this for through this I am asured
that my Heavenly Father loves me unconditionally.

RAE says

this man and his son has showed us true essence of the MOST HIGH’S LOVE. He truly is one of his faithful servents.SO MANY OF US LACK THIS RESPONSIBILITY IN LIFE. THAT IS TRUE LOVE. SOME GIVE JUST TIME. THIS MAN GAVE TIME, MENTAL POWER PHYSICAL POWER, AND SPIRITUAL POWER WHICH EQUALS BALANCEMENT.

Brenda Kiger says

It would be a better place to live if people loved each other
like Jesus loved us. If we take care of our children and love them the way we should they would give us more respect and we
wouldn’t have to worry about which road they take in their lives.

irene santoyo says

As a mother myself I think this is the number 1 example and the most important of our lifes, our children.
beautiful, because of this unconditional love, we can move mountains, and why not the world. thank you helene
