Any good dreams lately? (14 May 2009)

In the Silva training program you are taught a program to trigger a dream. It’s called the glass of water technique. Over the forty years that I have been using it, I have had some
excellent results.

Example: Several months ago I needed to have a handyman to cut down some of the dead tree branches and do general clean up on the four acres where I live. I placed an ad in the local paper for help. I had three responses. They all came out to bid on the job. They all quoted almost the same figure for their services. As I interviewed them I found them to be honest people and they all had references. NOW... which one should I choose to do the job? That night I asked for a dream to help me choose which one to hire, I wanted to remember the dream and I wanted to understand the dream.

The next morning after drinking the reminder of the water at my bedside, my mind drew a blank. After I got up, turned on the coffee maker and was in the bathroom washing my face and combing my hair I was startled because in the mirror was the face of the third man that I had interviewed.
He was short in stature, with a pleasant genuine smile. When we talked the day before he was shy, serious and didn’t make eye contact. “I’ll do a good job, I need the work,” he seemed to be pleading. I hired him that morning. And what a find; his wife, too, was looking for a job to clean houses. I hired her after we talked on the phone. She came
out the next day and was, as the phrase goes, ‘a God send’. At last I got all the work done around here.

Lately I have used my dream state for something different. When I go to bed and am not sleepy I ask that I be taken to an interesting place where I can experience something - a place that I am not consciously aware of. It’s opened a window to places that, even I, with all the research I’ve done amazes me.

Example: Last night I asked, “Take me to a place where I have never been before and let me remember it when I wake up. EUREKA! It is a place that is so different I awoke wanting to know more. The scene was a room with an old woman sitting at the table reading from a book. When I entered the room she looked up, smiled and said that she had been waiting for me. “I have a treat for you, a cookie that is not from your dimension,” she explained. “Come have tea with me,” she invited. I sat down and she poured a cup of tea that smelled and tasted like Jasmine.
She handed me a cookie, actually it looked more like a muffin. I took a bite expecting it to have a marshmallow center but it was golden foam that melted in my mouth. It was like something that I had never tasted before.

“Can I have the recipe,” I asked as I was munching on it. She smiled and said, “The ingredients are not in your dimension, but I will tell you that it has a number of vitamins and minerals that your body is lacking. You will feel energized and physically balanced in the morning.” Suddenly she stood up and glided across the floor and handed me a patch quilt that had the most unique squares of material. I examined it closer, trying to figure out the patterns that were on the material. “Each stitch has been programmed to heal the person that uses it to keep warm,” she explained. “What a fantastic idea,” I said. “You are overlooking so many ways to make your physical existence more comfortable. I have a book filled with ideas that you should pass along. You are invited to come back and I will continue to share the knowledge.”

The next thing that happened, I awoke with the taste of Jasmine tea and I can’t describe the taste of the cookie. I must go back to that place to obtain more wisdom and
knowledge and share it with you.

But you don’t need me. Do your own dreaming. I promise you it will offer you some insights that you have never consciously given thought to.

Believe and Receive,

Helene

Dear Helene,
I'm not too sure why I am writing you this? For many years I have 'seen' little things. They come to me as a very very short movie.(I call them snip-its) These movies have saved my daughter from being raped,me from being robbed & my husband from making several big mistakes. I have seen people go into a comma. In my 70 years, I have lived thru tornadoes, hurricanes, bank robberies, floods, being raped & last I survived cancer. As you can see life has been hard at times & money has even been harder to come by. I just wrote a book about my years with cancer called 'LAUGH WHEN I CRY". I had hoped that the book would help me with my financial problems. I try to play the lottery with no help. Money would help, but in truth, I really feel lucky any way. I'm alive, with my husband, 4 children, 11 grand kids & 4 great grand kids. (I also have my hair back after losing it 2 times)I help people all the time, but now I could use a little help myself. How do I go about that???
Thanks for reading this , even if you have no ideas about what I could do.
Sandy
