As I was paging through one of the many journals that I kept after I took the Silva Mental Training classes in the early 70’s, I came across so many personal experiences that I’d like to share some of them with you. The following is one. I’m sure some of the incidents you can relate to; some you may want to research on your own.

We formed groups and met weekly to review what we were taught. Our main interests were in the healing arts… detecting abnormalities on our mental screen and concentrating healing energy to those areas. The students reported their successes and we were elated. But many times the projection of sending energy was not lasting. That’s when I learned that when one sends energy for any purpose the energy dissipates after 72 hours. (I learned this while in Russia after I met with healers from all over the world.)

After I became aware of this information, it was suggested we should only send energy for a person’s highest good. And this is what I have been doing since. But I don’t know what they are meant to learn or experience in this lifetime.

One Tuesday afternoon I received a phone call from a woman requesting that we send healing energy to her brother. He was only 32 years old and in the hospital with stomach cancer. She told me that her church members met nightly praying for his healing and that he did show signs of improvement. She felt that if we included him in our energy circle he would be healed. After taking his name to include him at that night’s meeting and getting her phone number I informed her that I would like to keep in touch. That evening when the students projected him on their mental screen we all learned something. They were given his first name and age and they were to sense what his problem was. We then would discuss what we picked up about him.

He telepathically let us know that he did not want any more energy or prayers and that we were holding him back from leaving his body. When we asked why he wanted to die at such a young age he replied, “My time in the physical is done. I came to teach responsibility to my family and it has been accomplished. Now leave me alone.”

The next morning I intended on calling his sister to tell her what we learned, but she contacted me first. “Mrs. Hadsell I had a most disturbing dream last night. My brother appeared in a dream and told me to please stop praying for his healing because the energy was holding him back from leaving his body. So take him off of your healing list,” she requested.

Since that time I will only project energy for a person’s highest good. And now you too are aware that when we project energy it lasts 72 hours. At this stage of my life I have no more needs but still have a few wants. When I project energy for a want I stipulate that it materialize only if it is for my highest good.
